White House open to new tax on health benefits

WASHINGTON -- The Obama White House left open the possibility Sunday that the president would break a campaign promise and raise taxes on people earning less than $250,000 to support his health care overhaul agenda.

- I had not listened to Sarah's 8 minute video until so much hipe was being spewed about it. So, I just listened and found absolutely nothing wrong with a single word she said. In fact, I agree with every part of her talk. Rhetoric you say? I call it common sense.

- I agree with the opinion piece, unlike some of the comments I read. This president had a once in a life time opportunity as America's first Black president to use his position to unite the country and bring all races together. But, instead his words and actions have done the opposite.

- I agree with Devil. Cut pay where it really makes a difference. Freezing pay increases was a nice gesture for the average non-government employee to hear, but it really doesn't mean a thing since they already make 50% more than the average American.
